Step 2 of 3: Personalise The Characters

Click the Characters tab to look over all the characters in the story. You can personalise each character as much or as little as you like.

Click the first character's name, then click Edit selected character. You'll be taken to the Edit Character tab, where you'll see drop-down lists for everything that can be changed:

Do it now, then click back to this Instructions tab to read more.

First, try changing the character's name to suit your family. Next, try changing their hair style and clothing. You can make several changes at once, then click the Update button to see what they look like.

Click back to the Edit Character tab, and try it now.

Each drop-down list has an Edit button that lets you 'zoom in' and personalise in more detail. For example, you can 'zoom in' on someone's T-Shirt and personalise what's written on it:

You can also click directly on the T-Shirt in the picture to do the same thing. Click back to the Edit Character tab, and try it now.

If you need to take a break, you can use the Save for later button to save your entire storybook so that you can come back later.

If you're feeling creative, you can use the New Character button to create a character from scratch or, if you're finished personalising the characters, click the Proceed to step 3 button.

Click back to the Characters tab, and try it now.
